At your appointment, we can help with:
- STI testing and treatment
- Emergency contraception (for preventing pregnancy after sex: the morning after pill or emergency coil)
- Contraception – this includes the pill, injection, coil, implant and other options
- If you are pregnant and want to chat about your options
- Advice about preventing Hepatitis B / HIV for those at higher risk
- Hepatitis B vaccination
- Post exposure prophylaxis (PEP) and Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) for HIV
- Free period products and free condoms
- Any other questions you may have about your sexual health and wellbeing
Please note: if you any specific problems that need discussing, eg. heavy or irregular periods, pelvic pain, missing threads with coils, please phone our appointment line so we can book you into the right clinic.
IUD/ IUS (coil) fittings and removals:
If you would like to get an IUD or IUS fitted or removed, your GP practice may provide this service, so please check with them before contacting Sexual Health.
